Last updated: 30 July 2026. This is a starting template, not legal advice — have it reviewed by a Zimbabwean lawyer before relying on it in production. Data-handling terms are written to align with Zimbabwe's Cyber and Data Protection Act [Chapter 12:07] (2021).
By creating an account or using ZimWork, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract under Zimbabwean law to create an account, whether as a client or as freelance talent.
You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials secure. Freelancers may submit identity documents for verification; the "✅ ID Verified" badge is granted only after manual review by ZimWork staff and can be revoked if information is later found to be false.
ZimWork facilitates connections between clients and freelancers. Payment terms (including EcoCash, USD, or other agreed methods) are arranged between the parties unless otherwise stated in a specific paid ZimWork product. ZimWork is not a party to the underlying work agreement between a client and a freelancer.
You retain ownership of content you upload (portfolios, descriptions, testimonials), and grant ZimWork a license to display it on the platform for the purpose of operating the marketplace.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, misuse verification processes, or engage in fraudulent activity.
ZimWork is provided "as is." We do not guarantee the accuracy of user-submitted profiles or job postings, and are not liable for disputes arising from work arrangements between clients and freelancers.
These terms are governed by the laws of Zimbabwe.
